Consulting — planning your application

The first step in building something is knowing what you want to build. The “planning” stage is extremely important because it defines clearly the goals of the project. Specifically, the customer writes and submits a functional specification that defines in high detail the application type, purpose and requirements.

We analyse the specification and discuss it with the customer, establishing what is and what is not technically possible to implement, what server-side tools will we use and estimating the possible deadline of completion.

At this stage we also need to establish the project fees. Vast experience taught us that this simply cannot be stated at a general level—it's very dependent on the project nature, purpose, technology involved and of course, and an estimation of the amount of work required from our side.
