| Dynarch.com is finally online ¶ | |
| Today, Mon 27, 2004, the new www.dynarch.com website is for the first time online. We're testing it, updating database, creating forums and so. We hope you'll enjoy it. About our forums, they might seem somehow awkward, but they are functional. We will improve the UI in time, but we couldn't delay the website any longer for this. | |

| Website public ¶ | |
| ... And now it's publicly accessible. :-) We hope to have an “usual” bug rate. We developed quite some interesting products which we hope you'll enjoy. In the next 2 weeks we will be releasing HTMLArea 3.0 final containing a lot of bug fixing and feature enhancements (we wish to thank JotSpot for the wonderful QA and for financing the new and improved Word cleaner) and very probably a new calendar release. Stay tuned! 8-) | |

| Server uptime ¶ | |
| Some of you might wonder what's with the frequent (two times a day?) server downtimes. To eliminate any confusion, we should first tell you that our hosting provider (Unique Solutions) is rock stable and we are--maybe for the first time--truly happy about our server! The downtimes we were talking about are entirely our fault: sometimes, in order to fix something on a Website, a restart of the HTTP server is required. This restart usually takes a few seconds (we don't restart the whole machine; only the HTTP service). Of course, this will happen less and less, until eventually our Website will be bug-free and will contain all the features that we wish it to have. Thank you for your patience! 8-) | |

| IE security warnings ¶ | |
| We are aware that there were some problems with Internet Explorer displaying a lot of noisy queries when one tried to login to Dynarch.com and/or access pages via SSL. These issues were now fixed, at the expense that SSL pages will request stylesheets and images over SSL too, which means that the browser won't be able to use the cached versions (yet it will cache them again after the first SSL request). It will still ask about the certificate because it's signed by an authority not registered in the browser's list (CACert.org); this can be easily fixed by installing the certificate. On a different note, it's weird to see that the most unsecure browser on the planet is paranoid about security... The world is upside-down. :-) | |

| In the last 2 days there were some problems with our registration system, that is, it never sent the confirmation email. We are sorry for this inconvenience and it has now been fixed. If you tried to create an account and never received the confirmation email, please try again now. As usual, should any more problems occur, please contact us. | |

| NavBar 2.5 released! ¶ | |
| We released version 2.5 of our wonderful NavBar. Among better browser support (Safari included!) and other essential improvements such as the ability to execute arbitrary JavaScript code on click, or the ability to include plain HTML in menu sections, there is a wonderful WinXP Explorer menus skin. Oh, did we mention that NavBar is still very cheap? 8-) | |

| DynarchMenu discounts ¶ | |
| Again, we have some major discounts for our DHTML JavaScript Menu/Toolbar! Considering the number of features, browser support and “skinnability” we would say that our product is the best on the market, for a pretty small price--so don't miss our discounts. ;-) Hurry up, several days left!

| DynarchMenu for free ¶ | |
| Starting with version 2.7, DynarchMenu can be used for free, for non-commercial purposes, provided that you offer us a link back. I repeat, you can use the coolest DHTML menu for free. ;-) This version also contains several new features essentially aimed at dynamic menu modification, bug fixes and new skins. Our next target is to provide corss-frames support.

| RSS feeds ¶ | |
| OK, so now we have RSS. :-) This comes along with some other adjustments to our website, which should improve the visibility of latest forum messages and product releases. Also, existing customers will be notified of any available updates in the left bar (assuming they are logged in, obviously). | |

| HTMLArea final version ¶ | |
| Due to popular demand, we release the last version of HTMLArea. As stated before, the project is no longer under active development, but nevertheless it is quite functional and capable as it is. Also, this last code contains some plugins and stability fixes that were never released publicly, so if you are using HTMLArea in some product, be sure to check this last version. Go to the project page to download it. In other news, we're not dead, although so it would seem judging by the frequency of posts on this website. I'm working on a pretty cool product that I'm hoping to release soon. It's a full fledged JavaScript UI toolkit. Stay tuned for the announcement (although we will actually launch this on a new website, the announcement will appear here as well). | |

| Back in business ¶ | |
| Finally, after years of work, we're releasing our new flagship product. A complete JavaScript toolkit for Web development including a wide range of widgets (menus, calendar, color picker, dialogs, grid, trees, layout widgets, rich text editor, etc.), a consistent event system, a pragmatic coding style, browser-server communication utilities, and more. All is brand new, concise and elegant code. Check it out! ;-) | |
